The Radian Weapons® Anchor™ + Magwell for Glock® (SKU: R0950 / UPC: 810098421591) sets a new benchmark in combat and competition reload efficiency for full-size Gen 5 Glock handguns. Custom-engineered for OEM Gen 5 Glock 17, 34, 45, and 47 frames, this low-profile funnel dramatically increases the funneling radius of the grip frame. By guiding off-axis reloads cleanly into the magazine well under high-stress scenarios, the Anchor + Magwell significantly shaves split times while providing an enhanced forward reference ledge for improved master-grip recoil management.
Precision CNC-machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the assembly is built to survive extreme duty abuse, weapon drops, and aggressive secondary reloads. The exterior is finished in MIL-A-8625 Type III Class 2 Hardcoat Anodized Black, producing an ultra-tough, corrosion-resistant surface that stands up to holster friction, sweat, and aggressive bore solvents. Unlike conventional aftermarket magwells that clamp against the frame walls and induce inward bulging that pinches magazines, Radian's internal billet anchor block secures directly within the frame cavity, maintaining true factory tolerances and ensuring magazines drop completely free.
The system relies on Radian's patented three-way mechanical lockup architecture. The internal PLANAR-LOK™ screw drives barbed expansion teeth outward into the frame ribs for rock-solid vertical and longitudinal retention. The outer funnel dovetails into the rear of the anchor, indexes over the front lip of the frame, and secures tightly with the spring-assisted ANGLE-LOK® detent. The final result is a zero-movement, rattle-free fitment that remains fully compatible with factory standard-capacity magazines as well as duty and competition basepad extensions.

Fitment Matrix: Engineered exclusively for factory OEM Glock® Gen 5 full-size 9mm frames: G17 Gen 5, G34 Gen 5, G45, and G47. CRITICAL: NOT compatible with Gen 1, 2, 3, or 4 Glock frames. NOT compatible with compact Gen 5 frames (G19/G23/G44/G49), Slimline models (G43/G43X/G48), or large-frame Glocks (10mm/.45 ACP). NOT compatible with aftermarket frames (such as Polymer80, Lone Wolf Freedom Wolf, Nomad Defense, or Shadow Systems). Factory modular backstraps cannot be used without permanent armorer modification. CAUTION: During Step 3, do NOT overtighten the PLANAR-LOK screw; turning more than 1.5 to 2 turns past initial taper contact will over-stress and potentially fracture the internal polymer ribs of your serialized frame.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty.
- Slide the anchor screw through the tapered top opening of the ANCHOR, thread it in until the taper just contacts the opening, then back the screw out one half-turn counterclockwise to ensure free clearance.
- Fully seat the ANCHOR assembly into the grip cavity of the upside-down frame, insert the provided 3/32-inch hex key, rotate the screw counterclockwise until light taper contact is felt, and torque counterclockwise exactly 1-1/2 to 2 turns maximum.
- Insert the detent spring followed by the plunger (tapered end up) into the lower hole of the ANCHOR, align the magwell's rear female dovetail with the ANCHOR, and depress the plunger with the provided ANGLE-LOK tool while sliding the magwell rearward until the detent snaps locked.
- Place the front lip of the magwell against a protected flat surface (such as cardboard on an armorer bench), press firmly downward on the frame to seat the front tooth completely, insert an empty factory magazine to verify drop-free operation, and conduct complete dry-fire function checks.
