Fitment Matrix: Compatible with all standard M-LOK handguards, forends, and shotgun chassis systems. CRITICAL staging notice: Does NOT mount directly to KeyMod or 1913 Picatinny rails. Handguard rail torque mandate: Do NOT exceed 20 in-lbs (2.26 Nm) when torquing the steel #8-32 screws into aluminum M-LOK handguards (limit to 15 in-lbs on polymer forends). Applying excessive torque can warp polymer handguards or strip the internal Torx fastener head. Apply the included Loctite® Blue 242® threadlocker to fastener threads before final seating to prevent vibration-induced loosening under rapid semi-automatic fire.
- Ensure the host firearm is completely clear, magazine removed, and chamber visually and physically verified empty. Lock the bolt to the rear before performing handguard work.
- Insert the #8-32 x 0.3" Torx screw through the counterbored hole of the Bikini Hand Stop and loosely thread the M-LOK T-nut onto the backside, leaving approximately one thread pitch of clearance between the nut and stop body.
- Align the T-nut vertically with your chosen M-LOK handguard slot, press the assembly flush into the slot, and apply light outward pulling tension to seat the T-nut flats against the interior handguard wall.
- Apply a drop of the supplied Loctite® Blue 242® to the fastener threads and tighten the screw clockwise using the included Torx key; observe that the T-nut rotates 90 degrees perpendicular to the slot and locks firmly into place.
- Using an armorer torque wrench, verify torque does not exceed 20 in-lbs (aluminum) or 15 in-lbs (polymer), check that all corners sit flush against the rail with zero lateral wobble, and conduct dynamic handling drills prior to live-fire range staging.
